Canada Invades

Today after getting the turkey in the oven I sat on the couch to take a breather, with the pups surrounding me. The dogs were pretending to be companionable, but their fervent sniffing of every millimeter of my apron for spills revealed their true motives. Meanwhile I spotted the arrival of a flock of Canada Geese in the marsh. There was a certain amount of posturing from the resident Pilgrim Geese, but in the holiday spirit, no battles.
